My Approach

Time for a new computer?

Hi! I’m Sean. I’m a problem solver. And often technology IS the problem.

In 20+ years of experience in EdTech, and 15+ years of parenthood, I’ve seen and experienced the stresses of digital life. I’ve solved those stresses for parents, teachers, school administrators, business leaders, healthcare providers, and (most importantly) my own family.

I’d like to solve those stresses for you.

Why am I qualified? I’ve worked in schools and businesses, deploying large-scale academic technology innovations like 1:1 laptops and Chromebooks; building hiring and training systems that scale; modernizing Computer Science and and Robotics teaching; training teachers and leaders to create supportive-yet- challenging learning environments and high performing teams; providing supportive, concierge-style technical support to private clients; and supporting people of all technical backgrounds and abilities (people just like you).

My work has led to high levels of student satisfaction (95% satisfaction ratings!) in highly demanding technical programs, an 800% enrollment increase in a revitalized Computer Science program, and dramatically lower numbers of people throwing their computers out of their windows.

But being Your Tech Ally requires more than digital dexterity. It requires empathy. Getting support from someone who’s only focused on fixing the tech problems, and who has no empathy or patience for the human emotions triggered by those problems, just creates a different kind of anxiety and frustration. There’s just no room for that in my world.

That’s why I provide a human-centric approach to solving your tech issues. Solving the problem is important, but even more important is leaving you feeling empowered in your digital world.

  • Maybe your teachers need training on AI efficiencies and how to recognize AI-written work? I’ll get them going, no matter how “Digital Immigrant” they might feel.
  • Maybe you’re at your wits’ end dealing with your teenager’s phone obsession? I’ll listen to your horror stories and help you create a reset plan.
  • Maybe you’re overwhelmed by inefficiencies in your small medical practice? I’ll take it all in, build your solution, and leave you feeling in control.
  • Maybe you’re just losing it because your computer DOESN’T WORK RIGHT?! I’ll be there to hear you out and fix the problem.

Because this is what I believe:

  • Being Your Tech Ally means addressing the problem and easing your stress.
  • Being Your Tech Ally means hearing your frustration, holding it, and helping you move toward a solution.
  • Being Your Tech Ally means showing you grace, especially when you don’t understand something.
  • Being Your Tech Ally means making holistic digital enhancements, not just addressing immediate issues.
  • Being Your Tech Ally means creating a better digital world through a more empowered you.
